My child finally got enrolled into Infant Care!!!

I just received an offer of placement for my baby's infant care (IF) a few days ago and would like to share this excitement w u all!!!

I have heard anecdotes of the LONG LONG waiting time (up to 1 year). Luckily, it did not happen to me. Just 2 days after sending out emails to IF centers (3 in total), one of them got back to me.

My husband and I are so happy about this, because with IF, we can go work w/o worrying abt our little one. Plus, we r confident the IF educators are well-trained and will provide a great start-up to our baby.

How did we start looking for the IF? We used LifeSG app to filter the centers near our house and w vacancies. Each center's email is also listed, which allowed me to start emailing and enquiring.

Just brace yourself. There are LOTS of forms to fill, which took me a whole day. After that is payment of registration fee and deposit (equivalent to 1 month fee), then VIOLA, your child will be registered in the center.

Btw, do apply early. I wish to enrol my baby mid March, around 5 months from now. One center came back to me, saying that they couldn't advise for enrollment that was long ahead. But for PCF Sparkletots Preschool, they accept early registration.
