The reality of being a freelance content creator 🫣

I’ve worked in social media my entire career and have more recently started getting clients for content creation (the past year or so).

To be honest, I love it! The pros outweigh the cons for me all the way, however the cons still do exist and can be annoying.

I’m also still building my clientele, so I’m not making as much money as I was in corporate… yet! As time goes on I hope to find more clients and also get one off brand deals.

For clarity I not only do brand deals for my own social accounts, but I am a freelance content creator for businesses, creating videos for their social accounts! Similar to a social media manager, but only focused on filming versus doing strategy etc.
