I left corporate, but I kind of want to go back…

I have such a love hate relationship with working in corporate!

I’ve always had a passion for entrepreneurship growing up, and I still feel like that’s my ultimate path. But as someone who isn’t always the most patient and needs something new and exciting the moment I start getting bored or burnt out, I thought I could just quit my job and make it happen.

Technically, I could’ve. I struggled with motivation as soon as I didn’t have a set schedule with predetermined working hours. My tiktoks/reels would never get filmed — you’d be surprised how much effort it takes to post video content every single day. When you’re able to make up your own deadlines, you keep pushing them out the moment it’s convenient for you, and then you never end up doing the task.

Maybe I should get a new job in corporate and use that as a learning experience, while also forcing myself to stay consistent with my hobbies and exploring entrepreneurship (business, content creation, etc.)

But I’m battling with the decision! I love the flexibility of working for myself, being able to do whatever, whenever, as long as my work gets done. But I miss the structure and guaranteed paycheck of corporate, and the learning opportunities and benefits.
