Don’t make the same mistakes I did in my fitness journey!

I put together some Do’s and don’ts when it comes to creating this healthy lifestyle and achieving your goals!

DO:

Prioritize more movement. Start with 2-3x a week and increase to 4-5x a week later when your schedule allows.

DON’T:

Use exercise as punishment. If you fall off track just get right back on track, don’t “make up for it” with exercise.

DO: Avoid excessive sugary drinks/sodas. Opt for healthier alternatives.

DON’T:

Completely go cold turkey and cut everything out at once. There are plenty of healthy alternatives to the things you enjoy, zevia’s are a great alternative to soda for example.

DO:

Look at food as fuel, You need to fuel your body to achieve your goals. Shop for more Whole Foods and less processed foods. Cook at home more often to control what goes into your food.

DON’T:

Restrict yourself because this can cause binging. Opt for healthier alternatives.

Remember this is a LIFESTYLE change so making small changes will lead to bigger things.
