I'M A BAD FRIEND

I've realized here lately that I don't have one of those groups of friends to go out with. I used to, but since about 2019 a lot of not so good friends have fallen off. Here in 2024, I don't have anyone I can call my bestfriend (other than my husband). I have a few people that I would call a friend, most I'd call an acquaintance, couple of family members I'm willing to be around, and that's really it.

And I'm OK with that.

I've used all of my strengths in 2024 to bring myself mental peace. To bring myself back to a place of acceptance. A place to take care of my family the way I truly want to.

I don't have the energy for a bestfriend.

I want to say call me whenever you need anything, but what if my mental health is spiraling that day and I just can't do it?

I don't want to be a bad friend.

So I'll wait. Until I can give a bestfriend, a bestfriend that they deserve. And I'll wait until I find some quality people. I refuse to settle for a bad group.

Sit me with the motivated people.

The ambitious ones.

The ones always trying to learn more.
