Popular make up that is probably breaking you out
These all contain pore-clogging ingredients are not acne safe
Elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter ($14)
-Although this is an amazing dupe to Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Filter, this does contain Polyglyceryl 4-Isostearate, which ranks a 5/5 on the pore clogger scale.
L’Oreal Lumi Liquid Blush ($14.99)
-This one I go back and forth with because the pore clogger is pretty far down on the list, but nevertheless, they still contain a pore clogger. This also contains Polyglyceryl 4-Isostearate, which ranks a 5/5 on the pore clogger scale.
Pixi Beauty Blush and Bronze ($18)
-Both the blush and the bronze contain 3+ pore-cloggers each. Despite having low ratings, they still contain pore clogging ingredients. Here are some and their ratings:
-Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate (2/5)
-Castor Oil (Ricinus Communis Seed Oil) (2/5)
-Hydrogenated Castor Oil (2/5)
Dibs Desert Island Duo ($36)
-These are the most pore clogging products I own, with 6+ pore cloggers! Here are some and their ratings:
-Isostearyl Isostearate (4/5) and an irritant
-Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) (2/5)
-Shea Butter (3-5/5)
-Castor Oil (Ricinus Communis Seed Oil) (2/5)
-Hydrogenated Castor Oil (2/5)
Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint ($42)
-Super popular and BEAUTIFUL, but pore clogging!
-Ethylhexyl Palmitate (4/5)
-Avocado Oil (Persea Gratissima Oil) (3-5/5)
-Glycine Soja Oil (soybean oil) (3/5)
I tested all of these products on Emma Diane’s website. Do we agree with these ratings?
