Outfits I wore to Graduation Pictorial + MakeUp 👩🏻‍🎓

Hello to my fellow batch 2023 graduating girlies! 🎓Just had my yearbook graduation pictorial this month and I just wanna share with you girls what I wore and my makeup look.

The objective of our yearbook for our graduating batch is visualizing your higher self. We were asked to prepare an outfit for the toga, corporate and creative shots.

✨ Toga Shot

- Plain tank top

- Graduation gown was prepared by the studio.

✨ Corporate Shot

- Tank top paired with a blazer

- Collared blouse paired with American suit or blazer

- Trousers

- Avoid garments with fine print

✨ Creative Shot

We had the freedom to choose which style or look we would go for but we were also given choices like:

a.) Laid back Chic

b.) Sharp and Sophisticated

c.) Standout Swag

The makeup artist from the studio did my hair and makeup, I asked to go for a simple glam look with brown eyeshadow. My makeup at first was extremely simple and I was not satisfied with the outcome but glad I brought my makeup kit and retouched it a bit, even added a false eyelashes. I suggest you too, to bring your own makeup just in case you are also not that satisfied with your makeup look. You can also show a screenshot of the look you want to achieve and show it to your makeup artist.

💭 Additional tip: practice the poses you want to have for your creative shot, you can also prepare props if you’d like. Practicing your poses in front of the mirror can help you know which angle or position makes you feel good about yourself, helping you increase your confidence on pictorial day.
