NO SEW Making Lose Dress Fit

Hello girls! 🍋 Maybe one of the reasons why you do not feel good in that dress is that it doesn’t fit you properly. So, it’s time to wear that lose dress that has been long stock in your wardrobe, no worries now ‘cause I will share with you this hack on how to make them fit you perfectly. Very easy and no sewing needed. 🙅🏼‍♀️🪡

I got this dress from a thrift shop and I couldn’t resist not to buy it. I know I can wait for a time when I’d gain a little more weight to fit on the waist, but I just can’t wait any longer also. It might take a long time if I did 🥲 So instead of getting this dress tailored, I found a DIY hack from TikTok (@evelynramli) and thought of sharing it with you girls who are struggling with this too!

Prepare 2 safety pins and a shoe lace (or a ribbon, any will do), then let’s start! Below are the steps:

1. Flip your dress and wear the part with the tagline in front of your body.

2. Place the safety pins on each side of your waist. It’s better if they are aligned so it won't look weird at the end of this procedure.

3. Insert the shoe lace on the pins.

4. Tighten (but not too tight) and knot the shoe lace. Make sure the dress has enough space or can still stretch a bit when you flip over your dress to normal.

5. Lastly, flip your dress again, wear it properly and voila! ✨

If the back bothers you, just put a safety pin down. Now do this to all of your lose dresses so you can finally wear them! 😍 Let me know if this hack helped you too!
