What’s going on with my lips?

To give some context, since late January to early February, I got sick so my lips tend to get chapped, but when they first got chapped it started to peal around my lips instead. I still put chapstick as much as I can, but it didn’t stop.

after I got over that sickness, I got sick again and they started to do the same thing and now around my lips have a faint scarring around my mouth.

How do I fix it? Because I’m getting really insecure by it
