Not gatekeeping the best hotel to stay in Penang

Review on Ascott Gurney ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- Location: away from Georgetown, but near several good food places (refer to my Penang food recommendation post) and malls

- Accessibility: just grab everywhere

- Mall (Gurney Walk) located next door to hotel, with convenience store, coffee bean, restaurants, kids cafe with play area

- Comfort: Welcoming entrance with welcome drinks (self-service)

- Amenities: well-maintained gym, yoga room, kids play room, dining area (saw someone working there), kids pool and infinity pool

- Room: we got a studio premier, very comfortable space with kitchenette, fun-size walk-in-wardrobe, spacious toilet (studio premier doesn’t come with bathtub). The room even has a water dispenser as part of their green initiative, so you get to have drinking water all the time. No need to call for room service to get bottled water each day!

Would totally return again for a comfortable stay after a whole day of walking and feasting!
