Reminders for those who are interested or going to hikes soon.
1. Wear comfy shoes and shirts
This very important. Cause when we are hike we will sweat a lot. Don’t wear thick shirts / jacket. You need fresh air when sweat. Shoes make sure have good soles. It has to grip the track to prevent from falling.
2. Eat before hike
I’m sure some of us not having any meals before hike as some need to go early in the morning. Don’t eat too heavy. Banana / bread / milo also enough to give us energy.
3. Walk in a group, don’t left your friends behind
This is because there are many possibilities when we are hike either we are lost track or one of your friends injured or it is ourselves who get injured. So be in a team.
4. Be careful in each steps
Especially if the track are slippery, rocky and steep. Don’t get yourself injured.
5. Don’t litter your rubbish
Take a good care of nature. If bringing food, keep it save if there are any monkeys there. They might be attacking us with food.
6. Don’t give up, always thinks there few steps to reach final
These what I remind myself everytime I’m tired. If tired, take minutes to rest for a while then continue your journey. Think this will be worth when reach at the final as the scenery can’t be buy anywhere.
Tanjung Tuan, Melaka is good for those who are starting to start hiking. The track is easy and only takes 20 minutes to reach the peak. You won’t regret with the view, when going down you will found hidden beach. Good to leasure and spend time with friends ✨
