Verse of the Day

Today’s verse is Psalms 139:14.

Before finding God, I have struggled severely with my body image. I do not perceive myself the way that others do and I have hardly found myself pretty.

This has in the past led me to struggle with eating habits and unhealthy food restriction/addiction. I have never been completely satisfied with my appearance.

After turning to Jesus, I have been praying to see myself how God created me. I found this verse, which I have written on my mirror to remind me that I AM beautiful and I AM in God’s own image. This verse is very important to me and I’m sure it is to many young Christians who struggle with their confidence.

Just know this: we are all God’s children, which means we are all made in His image. His image for us is as stated in Psalms, “fearfully and wonderfully made.” You are beautiful, your soul is beautiful, and God sees how beautiful you are.
