MY FIRST SOURDOUGH STARTER FEEDING!! 🥖🫶🏼

This is the first time I get to feed my sourdough starter!!

I am new, like BRAND NEW to sourdough starter making…or is it my sourdough baking beginning? Anyways, I started this journey two days ago. I am keeping a diary of my starter, Blossom. I’m writing down her feedings, what I’m feeding her, how she smells, how she’s growing, the times I’m checking on her, basically anything & everything that has to do with her.

I got inspired to start this journey months ago. I read the fiction magical realism book, Sourdough by Robin Sloan & omg it was so good & cute!! It was a book that made magic out of the mundane & it’s a book that has stuck with me.

I plan on continuing to post my sourdough journey & progress on here!
