STUDY SPOTS IN NYC

As a college student in manhattan, my campus study spots are pretty limited. It gets repetitive studying in my small dorm room or the crowded campus library over and over again and tends to lead to burnout. I have found I have been way more productive when I switch locations and find a motivating study spot. Here are a few of my favorites I have found in New York City:

🗽 At Fordham’s Lincoln Center Campus, I am just two blocks away from Central Park, making it my go to study spot. Whether its on a bench on a quiet path, a picnic blanket in Sheep’s Meadow, or a giant rock overlooking Columbus Circle, Central Park is the perfect location for your next study session.

☕️Often times when I try to find a coffee shop to study at they have one of the following problems, bad or overpriced coffee, no seating, or inconvenient hours. My all time favorite coffee shop in NYC to do work at is Pret. I have a subscription for unlimited coffee, so each time I go there it doesn’t cost me money. At the 57th street location, there is ALWAYS seating. I found this to be the case at most locations, which are scattered throughout almost every neighborhood of Manhattan! The employees are also so kind and always give me the best recomendations for drinks. My go to these days is an iced dirty chai. When I go to Pret, I am guaranteed to be productive and get my work done.
