what i learned from being single🫶✨🍋

hey loves!

i’ve been single for the first time in YEARS now, and i’ve realized that i’ve learned so much in such a short time.

being single is a gift and allows you to discover yourself fully and love who you are. i truly love being single and i am not looking to enter into a relationship any time soon.

here’s what i learned…

1. time with friends is SO important!!!

• spend time with friends! it allows you to find different pieces of yourself that your partner held back. go to the mall, go to that party, go to get coffee, anything! it will help you find YOU!

2. not all men are bad!

• yes, some men are not the best; however, not all of them are like that. being single has allowed me to find some of my best guy friends ever! it helps you realize that not every man is destined to be your lover. some men are there to be your besties and have fun with!

3. you can’t love someone if you don’t love yourself!!!

• PRIORITIZE YOURSELF! CHOOSE YOU FIRST! being in a relationship can make us forget to put ourselves first. we may develop insecurities and find ourselves choosing our partners needs over our own. always choose you! you cannot love someone if you don’t love yourself.
