olapex…do you need it? (an honest review) 🤔

olaplex has been one of the most talked about hair brands for a long time…but is it worth the hype?

here’s my HONEST review:

i personally did not need olaplex. K18 and Olaplex are protein building haircare, and produce keratin. keratin is naturally produced by your body, so only use olaplex if you need protein in your hair!!

i ruined my hair with olaplex. it’s my fault, as i shouldn’t have used a keratin product. i’m warning you all to know your hair before using keratin products!

keratin building products can be AMAZING for girlies who need extra protein in their hair, especially if it is damaged.

here’s how i recommend using olaplex:

1. DON’T use it every wash!!! rotate it with a hydrating and nourishing shampoo.

2. if your hair begins to look a bit like mine did, STOP using it.

3. if you love the way olaplex makes your hair look, up the usage!

overall, olaplex did NOT work for me, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work for you! ask your hairdresser what they think ALWAYS.
