common interview questions and how to answer them

1. include basic information about yourself, who you are and what you do/study. then briefly go into your qualifications and why you are interviewing for this position in particular. don’t make it too long!

2. focus on providing evidence! be specific about what you did, what project you led, etc. and SHOW—not tell—the interviewer how you demonstrated your skillset.

3. state your biggest strength and then tell a story of how you applied that strength into your work. again, providing real examples is so important!

4. for this question, you’ll have to turn a negative into a positive. elaborate on how you overcame a weakness and are improving on something you struggled with in the past. use an actual example/anecdote.
