✨the best tasting strawberry banana smoothie from a girl that owns a juice bar! this is one of our customers favorite smoothies; the classic strawberry banana but perfected!
✨ingredients:
Apple juice 8 - 12oz (depending on how thick you like it!)
1 tablespoon of flax oil (don't skip this step, this makes it velvety, rich, and creamy!)
2 cups frozen strawberries
1banana
optional: goji berries to sprinkle on top of the smoothie when you're done!
✨Directions:
• blend everything on high power
• if chunks are not fully blended out when you are done complete the blending process ONLY on low power until all chunks are out!
✨ smoothie blending tips:
🌀If you want to add protein, such as protein powder, nut butter, or Greek yogurt, add it AFTER your smoothie is fully blended and only blend on low - medium power for 5 seconds
🌀Put softer ingredients at the bottom of the blender to help with blending. This includes ingredients like yogurt, fresh fruits, and leafy greens.
🌀Add harder ingredients like frozen fruits, ice, or vegetables on top of the soft ones. This helps prevent your blender from struggling to chop through hard ingredients.
🌀Start blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high. Blend until all the ingredients are smooth, and there are no visible chunks.
🌀If your smoothie is too thick, add more liquid.
If it's too thin, add more frozen ingredients or ice
