I HAD PLASTIC SURGERY but I don’t recommend it

A year ago, I had double eyelid surgery in bkk (~SGD$2k) to fix my uneven double eyelids. Price wise I think it’s ard mid - high range in bkk coz I went to a reputable one as I rly rly didn’t want to screw this up. And also my mum did a facelift in this clinic before and I saw how nicely her scar healed so I trusted them.

The recovery was very smooth actually, it was just a small incision ( ~ 1cm) that was made and it barely swelled after the surgery (I met my friends a few days after the surgery and they said they couldn’t tell I did it) and I’m really glad that I told the doctor that I didn’t want bigger eyelid folds just make both sides even it was good enough already. Tbh sometimes I do kinda regret not asking for the bigger fold because I was paying the same amount of money anyway and the skin will sag over the years to become a smaller fold anyway 😅

Okok back to the main point to why I wouldn’t recommend other ppl to do PS in general. Yes, I get that it’s other ppl’s face/body therefore it’s up to them to change it however they want. But for me, I feel that after I did this surgery, I started to find other kind of flaws on my face - e.g my face isn’t symmetrical, so I went to do Ultraformer III + botox. (~$600 💸), I keep thinking that my nose isn’t tall enough so I am actually contemplating doing a nose job and I keep watching plastic surgery related videos to see what procedures are there and if I have those “issues” to be fixed. I’m aware of this now and I try not to overthink too much about the other insignificant “flaws” on my face, and so I hope this would not happen to others too 🥲 that’s why I wouldn’t recommend anyone to get plastic surgery (unless it’s an actual medical issue?)
