本日、9月1日は防災の日。

南海トラフ地震についてのニュースがあったり、巨大な台風が直撃したりと、

防災について改めて考えることが多くなった今だからこそ、親子で行きたい場所が防災館です。

子供でもわかりやすい防災の映像を見て、

4つの自然災害を体験するツアーに参加できるんだけど

かなり本格的な災害体験ができるし

なかなかやることのない119番通報体験なども出来て

子供だけじゃなく大人も学ぶことが多くて

本当に行って良かったと思った。

しかも全て無料！

家族で来ている人、海外観光客、シニア夫婦、カップル、いろんな人が来ていました。

災害大国 日本に住んでいるからこそ、

大事な子供たちを守るため＆いざという時にパニックにならないために、

防災の日だからこそ災害について考える日にしたいね。

Today, September 1st, is Disaster Prevention Day.

With recent news about the Nankai Trough earthquake and massive typhoons making landfall, now is the perfect time to rethink disaster preparedness, and there’s no better place to do that with your family than at a disaster prevention center.

Here, you can watch easy-to-understand disaster preparedness videos designed for kids and participate in a tour where you can experience four types of natural disasters. The experiences are incredibly realistic, and you can even try things you rarely get to do, like making a 119 emergency call. It’s not just children who can learn a lot; adults will also find it very educational. I’m really glad we went.

And best of all, it’s all free!

The center was filled with a diverse crowd—families, international tourists, senior couples, and even young couples.

Living in Japan, a country prone to natural disasters, it's crucial to think about how to protect our children and how to avoid panicking in an emergency. That’s why Disaster Prevention Day is the perfect time to reflect on disaster preparedness.

We went to the center near Kinshicho, but there are also disaster prevention centers in Ikebukuro and Tachikawa where you can experience free disaster tours as well.
