i’ll go back to JB just to eat here 😭😭😭

one of my friends recommended us to try this place while we were at JB and i’m seriously mind blown but how yummy the food was 🤤 we literally devoured everything in 20 minutes and no wonder we had to queue for 30 mins because this place is an absolute gem ⭐️ the place’s called Oriental Kopi & we went to the branch at Midvalley Southkey Mall!

[PENANG CHAR KUEY TEOW 🍝] MUST ORDER!!!

i always had the perception that all char kuey teow taste roughly the same but i was proven wrong after trying this and this was my favourite dish there!!! idk what they added inside but the dish was so so flavourful yet it wasn’t too overpowering either. 💥 all of my friends agreed that this was one of their favourite dishes 😌

[ORIENTAL POLO BUN 🥐]

love how they provided condensed milk with the bun because it adds an extra layer of flavour & the texture of the bun was really nice.

[ORIENTAL EGG TART 🍮]

apparently it’s one of their signature dishes but personally for me it was alrightttttt because i felt that the egg to tart ratio was slightly disproportionate because the eggy taste of the tart was too overpowering for me. but if you like egg tarts with more custard filling this one’s for you!

[FRIED CHICKEN MEAT MEE SIAM 🍗]

similar to the char kuey teow, the mee siam was super flavourful as well! the chicken was juicy & tender & i loved the chilli that comes at the side

overall: please give this place at visit if you’re at mid valley southkey mall you won’t regret it 🤤🤤🤤 i was so satisfied & happy after the meal because almost everything we tried tasted so so good. plus the price’s really decent for such a delicious & hearty meal so 10/10 recommend!!!! ❤️
