Katong Square has a retro flea market every first weekend of the month , and this month it is happening on 7,8,9 of July !!!

Went down today and it was so vibey the vibes were amazing !!! Music was blasting and everyone was just chatting or walking around !! There were also so many booths including the outdoor area in front of the entrance and the first floor of Katong Square !! Saw some really cute batik print clothes ( most of the clothing booths sold these types of clothes ) also saw a booth that sells carpets and rugs !!

The thrift store booths and vintage tees are located in the outdoor area with prices going as low as one for $5!! There were also shoes and vintage rings and accessories !! Chanced upon a store selling film cameras and the price range was really good ( highest was $100 for the olympus branded ) and the rest were $70-90 !!! I was already looking for a point and shoot before this and saw some online ranging from $80-$90 so when I got mine for $75 I was extremely happy !! It was also in good condition, tested and working ( you get to test there as well they provide batteries ) Even saw the first original olympus film camera there !! Do check out this store if you’re dropping by ( it is situated beside a big red car )

Overall I’m really glad I went, the booth variety was really wide and everyone was selling a bit of everything ( even frozen or processed food ) so there’s something for everyone !! Do head down this weekend !!
