🍧 I THINK THE FOOD WAS DRUGGED…🤯

… it is THAT good and I CANNOT stop thinking about all the dessert items I ate over at 𝒀𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒂 𝒀𝒂𝒏! 🍧

Yat Ka Yan Dessert 一家人 is a cosy space taking up two shops, nestled right in Fortune Centre. Definitely a #hiddengem, but judging by the long queues during lunch time, this place is definitely no stranger to those in the know!

We stumbled upon 𝒀𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒂 𝒀𝒂𝒏 while we were in the vicinity running errands and were looking for a place to grab dessert. They serve up a wide variety of hot and cold traditional dessert, as well as a selection of snacks (creamy chee cheong fun, anyone) that’s bound to satisfy those mid-day cravings 😋

Although the place was rather crowded, with snaking long queues spanning over two of their shops, the queue moved rather quickly and we were seated rather fast👌🏻

Here’s a glimpse of the dessert items we ordered so far:

𓎩 𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙪𝙖𝙣 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙥 — S$4.00

My favourites were the 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙡 and 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙣𝙪𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚, whereas 🙋🏻‍♂️ couldn’t decide on his fave as he loves practically all of the dishes we tried. You will be pleased to know that all their desserts are satisfying and well-balanced — just the right amount of creamy, velvety texture paired with the perfect amount of sweetness 🍧

Craving a gratifying post-dinner dessert to end off your day on a sweet note? You’ll be pleased to know that they open until 10 PM on weekdays and 11 PM on weekends!

We’re already planning our next trip back and can’t wait to try other items on their menu! 😋
