COLLEGE DECISIONS: The Reality 🎓📚✈️

I shared my story in some of the slides, but my key takeaway for any students about to enter the college decision process is:

Do not, and I mean do not let anything get in the way of what you want to do.

Obviously, you should consider what will make you happy in the future and what you want to do in the long run, but if it’s something you don’t feel like you’ll have support with doing, do not give up.

I learned that the hard way and it’s something I still let bother me daily.

Always follow your dreams.

Do what will make you happy.

Take the risk.

Find a way.

Get the money.

I get to rock the UMD, UTK, and Clemson apparel, but I’ll always have the regret in the back of my mind that I didn’t apply and prepare myself sooner.

College is your FUTURE. This is the time to take risks and follow your heart. Don’t let anything stand in your way. Love the journey you’re putting yourself on.

EDIT: sorry for the typos in the slides!! It always takes me so much time to realize I mistakenly typed something wrong. There are definitely some words I made present tense that should be past tense (my bad!)
