Hair Styling on a Budget

I made this hair routine for the baddies on a budget. This is the hair routine that I follow to help get that perfect curl/wave. Product will very on different types of hair types but this is a simple guide to help you through it.

Styling Steps:

1. Make sure your hair is soaking wet.

2. Use a leave-in conditioner to help keep the hair moist

3. Using a volumizing mouse will help give your hair volume but to also help the pattern hold.

4. Use a curl cream to help the curl/wave take its final shape.

5. The hair jel will fully help lock everything in and make sure the curls/waves don’t fall.

6. Always make sure to use a heat protect on your hair before using a heat styling tool including a hair dryer. This is help keep the hair healthy and not have breakage or have heat damage.

7. Defuse your hair with a hair dryer make sure that it is on medium heat and medium blow strength. I always try to hold the hair up that I’m not currently drying so the weight of the products don’t pull the curl/wave out before it is fully dry.

8. After the hair is fully dry or damp use a nice shiny and moisturizing oil to help get rid of the hard jel cast left on the hair and to also help make the hair shiny and soft.
