bkk must try food 🤤

After spending the past week in Bangkok here are some of the food that I miss and are worth going back for more!

🍞 mil toast house

I heard so many good reviews of this place and it did not disappoint. I tried their mixed fruit yogurt honey granola bingsu and strawberry cheesecake toast. And I highly recommend both. They have multiple locations which makes them easily accessible to try!!

💰 Price range: 200-400thb / dessert

🍪 la line macaron and pastries

My friend who interned at Bangkok recommended me this and damn was I surprised. The price is similar to annabella, but the quality is so much better. Each macaron is generously filled and doesn’t taste like sugar only. Highly recommend to try their strawberry mimosa and pistachios flavour.

💰 Price range: 40-55thb / macaron

🧋 bearhouse

Another recommendation by my friend. This is the best place in Bangkok to get mochi pearls! They also offer some desserts but I did not manage to try them. However their tea selection is quite good and if you enjoy good chewy pearls, you would have to check out this place

💰 Price range: 60-100thb / drink

🍡 black sesame house by sweet circle

this shop specialises in tang yuan and omg the tang yuans were so fat and filled. They also sell hot soya bean and bingsus, which is perfect if you can’t decide what kind of deserts to get. They open until 1230am, which is perfect if you are still hungry after a whole day of shopping!

🍞white story

asides from daifuku this shop also sells really delicious bread. I brought back their banana bread and custard ones, and my family really enjoyed it. They sell a whole range of breads, and I cannot wait to the rest the next time I’m in Bangkok. They sell their products at 2 for 100thb, and when you go at closing time it’s 3 for 100thb. Super affordable and good for bringing it back to Singapore

🌮 taco bell

This one is a hit or miss, but if you are looking for fast food in Bangkok, you should try taco bell. It’s cmg to Singapore soon, but it’s definitely still worth trying it at Bangkok. There is also vegetarian options available, and my friends and I would recommend their cinnamon twist as dessert. Sadly I only manage to eat it on my last day, if not I would have definitely ate more of it.

🛵 grab food

don’t sleep on thai grab food! They have so many options at such affordable rates. They also tend to have a lot of discounts if you know how to stack them around. On the first night me and my friend ordered 2 Burger King meals for only $10 sgd. And on the last night we ordered 8 different dishes from a local shop which only cost $30sgd in total. Not to mention, the grab food is super fast and super worth it.
