Jeju, South Korea | Woo Young Woo’s meat noodles

Their Bul Jokbal (불 족발) was beyond my dream 🥲

It’s a small cozy noodle restaurant that is frequent by locals. I really was hoping the the soup had more punch because we do enjoy a strong broth. Other than that we kinda missed out on their potato pancake which was popular as well. You know that feeling when you’re just sad you can’t eat anymore HAHA 😂

01 Meat Noodles 10000 won ~ $11

The pork was really tender and the noodles were chewy so that was good. The lady at the shop was really friendly as well to serve us side dishes and their side dishes were all free flow so you could imagine how happy I was!

02 Bul Jokbal 20000 won ~ $22

This was the highlight. When the lady asked if we want it spicy or non-spicy, we couldn’t decide so the lady recommended BAN BAN which means half half haha so we could taste both. It was such an amazing idea. And the end result, we preferred the spicy version more because it was more flavourful but omg the way they marinated the braised pork trotters was very well done.

It’s a nice cozy little restaurant that is patronised by several locals. If you’re craving for a very local dishes this is a must-try. It’s right along the street so it’s relatively easy to locate as well. They don’t really have an English menu so you have to try your best with whatever language skills you can!

Overall 😍

I would like to try other meat noodles round the area to properly compare haha but time wasn’t on our hand. This was the meat noodles featured in Extraordinary Attorney Woo Netflix series so I was happy that I’m able to get the first taste of it. It warms your tummy.
