WHAT TO EAT/DO IN BATAM! 🇮🇩

batam offers a variation to your usual JB, but at an extra $76 ferry ride 😁 here are some cafes and places to visit if you’re looking to go :-)

🍽️🍽️FOOD🍽️🍽️:

1. Gazoz Cafe (@gazoz_id): where we got the cover pic, their signature breakfast board! Recommended for 2-3 pax and it was slightly pricey at 40SGD but you’d never get such a good price for how much food there was! we were stuffed 😋 highly recommend!!

2. Tatido Coffee Roasters (@ta.ti.do ) slightly disappointing as we found the coffee diluted :-(

3,4: Atlantis Beach Club (@atlantis_beachclub): affordable drinks, food, and semi-ocean vibes 😅🤣 definitely can’t compare to Bali so do manage your expectations~ food was p decent too

5: Warkop Agam Happy: wow this was so affordable at $1+ haha definitely something new as they cook it different from your usual Indomie - and you can’t go wrong with Indomie!!

6: Helado (@helado.icecreamcafe) nothing much to shout about just saw this on tiktok and decided to try hehe

7,8. batam zoo paradise: a wee bit stinky but there were many animals for you to pet - they weren’t kept in pristine condition though :-( there were goats, alpacas, snakes, rabbits, Guinea pigs and a lot more

how we got around: grab!! vv affordable, similar to JB. there’s grab car and grab bike
