what I did in HOKKAIDO, JAPAN 🇯🇵 for 12 days ✨

#storytime i went to Hokkaido with my relatives in EARLY APRIL after i graduated and i would defo come here again!!

☁️ weather was ~18° average & it didn't rain

🌸 unfortunately haven't bloomed yet :(

Itinerary 📋

5-7 April: Sapporo (1 day in Otaru)

8-10 April: Niseko

11-12 April: Hakodate

13-14 April: Noboribetsu

15-16 April: Sapporo (1 day in Otaru)

📍SHIROI KOIBITO CHOCOLATE FACTORY (Sapporo)

⭐️ cute place with play areas, chocolate making workshops, live view of the chocolate factory

⭐️ highly recommend if you're bringing kids!

📍Mount Tengu

⭐️ iconic cable car

❌ went during non-peak so many things were closed

Things I would do differently 🤔

- spend more time in Sapporo and Otaru!!! Sapporo if you like to shop in the city, Otaru if you like good views & authentic food & souvenir stores

- skip Noboribetsu because i didn't like the whole hell aesthetic + couldn't use the sauna because i can't stand the smell

TIPS

✔️ the japan public transport card is in apple wallet! just add it in so you don't have to purchase the physical card (unless you want to ofc)

✔️ YOUTRIP!!! not sponsored but its true that their rates are super good

✔️ bring a notebook to collect stamps!!

✔️ EXTRA LUGGAGE i thought i wasn't gonna buy much stuff but i was so wrong
