This fragrance by Jo Malone combines the "freshness of sweet pears wrapped in a bouquet of white freesias on a subtle background of scrambling wild roses and skin-warming amber, patchouli, and woods."

This scent is wonderful; it has a crisp freshness at first, followed by a warm, more woodsy second layer that lingers on the body like the warm, oozy feeling of the sun on your skin on a bright summer day. It combines notes like pear, rhubarb, quince, white freesias, wild rose, patchouli, amber, and white musk to create a unique, clean, feminine fragrance that I adore.

I’ve been wearing my English Pear & Freesia non-stop. And personally, I think Jo Malone scents are so good. I usually spritz two times on the back of my neck, two times on my wrists, and 1-2 times on my clothes. This amount usually lasts me all day. The scent is very unisex, fresh, and light. It's ideal for the summer.

Would I recommend it? To be honest, yes!! I have no regrets with this scent or any of the Jo Malone scents. All of their fragrances smell good and I love their scent palette. It's a little pricey, but it's definitely worth the money.

Top notes are Pear and Melon; middle notes are Freesia and Rose; base notes are Musk, Patchouli, Rhubarb and Amber.
