I chanced upon some articles on affordable Hamburg dons in the West and decided to check

From the options of pork or beef, we chose the pork steak. The Hamburg steak was served in a hot plate alongside sautéed mushrooms and mustard. The set included pickles, salad, tamago soup and Japanese rice. We got to drizzle the sauce over the hot plate 😋🤤 Tbh I thought I was going to be bothered by the mustard but it didn't have a strong enough taste!

🌟 For the signature dish, we chose beef. The egg was runny and sat on a cloud of grated radish. The toppings really complemented the beef!

💸 $13.80

On the whole, we prefer the pork as compared to the beef because the pork was more tender. We shared the sides on the set because the portion was big! We noticed the couple beside us didn't finish both their sets too 🥲

Tsukimi is a casual Japanese dining restaurant. We arrived at 6.30pm on a Friday evening and the cafe was mostly full!! We got the last vacant table and everyone behind us had to queue up. Food arrived quickly after ordering and payment!

The price was alright for us (💸💸) and the restaurant was easy to access. We probably won't eat this everyday but it's a nice place to go for casual date nights and if you're craving for Hamburg. We might return to try other stuff on the menu too! 🤤😋
