there are so many myths about BD! like swings do not always indicate bipolar disorder! people like to throw it out in casual convos while describing others which can be hurtful but hopefully as stigmas break & mental health education becomes more prevalent that will stop. it’s not just an excuse for erratic behavior & can affect one’s entire life when not managed. ask questions, seek help + information!! i believe in you + your bipolar.
