Day trip to JB ✨

Here’s a quick itinerary of our day trip to JB!

To be frank, we cheated a little because we actually drove in the night before and stayed the night there 🤪

We began our day bright and early @

Kopiloco

📍 9, Jalan Dedap 21, Johor Jaya,

(Right across the famous Hiap Joo Bakery)

My ultimate fav breakfast place & would totally gatekeep but sharing this precious gem with all of you!

Must order:

🤤 Nasi Lemak with Chicken Drumstick (+ rendang)

Omg their rendang is to die for! Super super good 👍🏻

We took a light breakfast because we were gonna head for lunch right after @

Restaurant Teck Sing

📍 385, Jalan Sutera 1, Taman Sentosa, 80150 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

(5 mins drive from KSL)

Must order:

🤤 Herbal Baked Chicken

🤤 Eggplant With Minced Meat

🤤 Sambal Petai

🤤 Chai Po Egg

After which, we had to get our caffeine fix so we headed over to

Space Cafe

📍 260, Jalan Dato Sulaiman, Taman Abad,

(4 mins drive/14 mins walk from Teck Sing)

I’m a coffee person & though their coffee was pretty good, I must say the one that stole the show was the tea lattes!

Must order:

🤤 Hojicha Latte

🤤 Genmaicha Latte

We also bought some of their coffee beans back!

You can choose to either spend some time at KSL or go over to city square - for us, we went over to city square after this & went for massage @

First Care Enterprise

📍 Jalan Wong Ah Fook, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000

(Located in City Square)

Super affordable @ approx $25 for 1 hour full body massage 💆🏻‍♀️ they also have a sister outlet at komtar (the mall next to city square) so you don’t really have to book, they should be readily available!

Did our usuals & bought eureka + famous amos (from komtar) & also did some shoe shopping at VINCCI - bought 2 pairs of work shoes for only $24SGD 🤗

We ended our day here as we had dinner plans arranged but if you have some time for dinner, I’d recommend visiting:

Tai Son Seafood Restaurant

They have super cheap Heineken Beer Tower @ $17.50SGD too 🍻

If you’re not foodies, you can consider getting some activities done such as Go Kart & Tufting but….. we’re really just foodies so it’s always a full on food trip for us when we’re in JB 🤤
