Electrical appliances & why we bought them 😍

Did you know you’d need the relevant dimensions of your electrical appliances for renovation works? And this could be as early as during tiling process 🤯

Here’s part 1 of the electrical appliances we’ve bought/shortlisted & why we got them:

For the living room, we decided to get a huge TV (65 inch) to give the illusion of a wider living room ~ We felt that the living room was the one place in the house that guests interact with the most, hence one of our key criteria was ✨aesthetics✨ so going with Samsung the frame tv was a no brainer!

👦🏻 is an audiophile and he enjoys listening to music (the kind that uses a DAP and 10 driver earpiece for quality music 🤷🏻‍♀️). We feel that we would likely watch movies or shows in the bedroom on our comfy bed & use the living room more for hosting with nice jazzy music for the vibes 🎶 so we went for speakers instead! According to 👦🏻, these are one of the better speakers around.

As we like to host, we want our guests to have their drinks without having to step in and out of the kitchen, so having our water dispenser + coffee machine outside just makes sense! We didn’t have a lot of countertop space at the dry pantry so we opted for a slim water dispenser - Hana from Hydroflux also doesn’t require much space in the carpentry for the filter so it’s truly space saving! For our Breville, this is the coffee machine we’ve been using for a year plus now so we’re just moving it along with us ☕️

As our kitchen is L-shaped, we wanted to maximise the space so we decided to have a tall unit at the dining area together with the dry pantry. We decided on the Anova oven as its a 12-in-1 so we can airfry, reheat, toast, sous vide etc etc with just one device! We’re also planning to have a built in oven but have not decided on one yet so if you have any recommendations, do share it with us in the comments below ⬇️
