The Norse Goddess Eir 🌿

Eir is another goddess that I work with and have learned so much from within my practice in regards to healing especially energy healing and herbs.

There isn’t as much information out there on Eir as much of the myths of the time have been lost with the spread of Christianity in Europe. A lot of these myths would have also been passed down through oral tradition.

Eir is the Norse goddess of healing and medicine. In Old Norse Eir means protection, help, and mercy.

She is a goddess or Valkyrie it’s also thought that she was a handmaiden of the goddess Frigga. Frigga’s Ásynjur court was composed of 12 goddesses.

I wish there was more information available about Eir but sadly there is not and we know very little about her.
