I have a collection of skin tints I constantly rotate through because they’re so lightweight and usually provide enough coverage to even out my skin tone but don’t have that thick feeling of a foundation. I feel like brands keep launching them and it’s hard to keep track of which ones do what!
Bobbi Brown - Vitamin Enriched Skin Tint SPF 15 $46
Even though I always wear a separate layer of sunscreen, I love that this one has it included for some extra sun protection. It’s a thin formula and I’ve found it can start to settle into fine lines and start to look dry if I don’t have enough of a hydrating base underneath.
Ilia - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 $48
This is a very watery formula with sheer coverage. It gives you a no makeup makeup look with a natural finish. The bad thing about this one is the smell. I can get past it once it dries down but I’ve heard other people have to return it because they find the smell to be so bad.
Hourglass – Veil Hydrating Skin Tint $49
Probably the thickest of the skin tints I’ve tried. I really like the glowy finish it gives and it has light coverage. It’s hydrating enough and blends really well.
Summer Fridays – Sheer Skin Tint $42
It’s sheer and very thin with a natural looking finish. This is another one that can make me look dry by the end of the day so I really have to start with a hydrating base. It’s good for a no makeup makeup look.
