Yall, I'm not gonna lie. this crochet project was one of the longest custom orders I had to work on in a while.

If you're a crocheter, then the following is probably gonna make the most sense to you. I started off by crocheting the body from the tail all the way to the tip of the head, adding the middle feathers along the way. The issue came with the Wings. Because the person who requested this custom asked me to add as much detail as possible (because their bird's feathers were gonna change color soon and they wanted to replicate the bird as much as they could as their reminder of the bird), of course, this is a really hard request.
