How to clean strawberries

My daughter and I are huge fans of strawberries. I buy them often and they honestly don’t last past two days. I like to make sure I clean them before my daughter starts digging in. I mix 4 cups of water with 1 tps of baking soda into a large bowl. Than I put the strawberries in the water and with clean hands I mix them around. I let the strawberries sit in the bowl for 10 minutes before rinsing and pat drying them with paper towels.
