Korean food is one of my favourite cuisine and I was so excited when my friends planned a dinner at Pohang. The food was beyond my expectations and seafood was so fresh. Here’s what we ordered!

We ordered the flat fish sashimi set and additional pork belly. The meal came with plenty of banchan (side dishes) ranging from kimchi pancakes, radish soup, fried mackerel, steam egg, some noodle salad and a lot of side dishes like your standard kimchi and radishes.

Now onto the sashimi itself, the flat fish sashimi was so fresh and the tuna melts in your mouth. Pairing it with the seaweed and some sesame oil, this dish was so appetising and delicious 😋 I did enjoy the abalone sashimi a lot too for the texture and taste. Tasted like whelk if you have tried it.

The pork belly was so soft and melts in your mouth, the side dishes were equally as tasty. I am drooling just thinking about the food again 😛

It’s truly one of the best Korean meals I had in Singapore and I’ll definitely go back again.
