What I Did In Seoul! 🇰🇷

If you are looking to head on to Seoul but you are not sure what to visit, here are some key highlights of my trip to Seoul & some MUST visits & things to do there as well!

Day 1️⃣

✈️ Landed at Incheon Airport before heading over to our AirBnb at Hongdae using the Arex Express which costs about 4,500 won.

💆🏻‍♂️ Soonshiki Salon - Headed on over to the Hongdae Branch of Soonshiki Salon to have my hair done (a down-perm & cut). The service here is really good as well!

🐙 Hong’s Small Octopus - This place serves stir fried octopus and you can even have grilled fried rice at the end that is crispy on the outside.

🛍️ Hongdae Street - Afterwards we did some shopping on the streets of Hongdae which has many stores selling different clothing, accessories and goods!

🍸 La Luz - Ended of the night with a visit to this Foreigner Friendly Bar which has multiple games for you to play (mostly for free), quite a fun experience I would say!

Day 2️⃣

🛒 Mangwon Market - started off our day by having this very local Korean market experience with not as many tourists as others like Gwangjang Market which I liked!

☕️ Cafe Seoul - Afterwhich we stopped by at this Little quaint cafe with interesting drinks and dessert combinations for a short break.

🥧 Pie In The Shop - Known for their pies, this cafe has an industrial interior and a large variety of different pie based desserts.

🐖 Duroc Pork Hongdae - Had dinner at this Duroc Pork BBQ place in Hongdae that serves up such juicy pork!

🍻 Itaewon Pub Crawl - Signed up for a pub crawl in Itaewon and went around different bars having drinks and meeting new people along the way! Definitely an interesting and fun experience to try in Seoul!

Day 3️⃣

🍜 Mealbon Korean Restaurant - Tried this Michelin awarded Noodle place that served up Kalguksu and Cold Noodles, which was a good meal to kickstart the day.

🛍️ The Hyundai Seoul - A One stop shop for all your retail shopping with numerous retail brands ranging from Gentle Monster To Tamburins you definitely can get all your shopping needs done here!

♨️ Aquafield Goyang - I tried out this Jjimjilbang experience which was honestly quite atas and worth it with state of the art amenities and recreation space for a very reasonable price!

Day 4️⃣

☕️ Ikseondong & Insadong - Headed over here for their numerous Cafes & Restaurants and different stores selling handcrafted items

🍝 Ikseon Chwihyang - Known for their cream pastas that are extremely popular online, it really is an indulgent savoury dish that leaves you craving for more

🔫 Ikseon Shooting Club - I got to try out some air shooting here with different weapons like pistols and rifles, you can frame up your target score on their walls as well!

🎋 Cheongsudang - If you want to visit a cafe for its aesthetics, this is definitely one for you! The entrance is a mini pond with stone steps and bamboo. There is even a mini lake with fishes on stone tables in the cafe with aesthetic and delicious dessert and drinks!

🥐 Jayeondo Salt Bread - Tried this viral Salt bread that is so Fluffy and Buttery that it leaves you wanting more with every bite! They only release it in batches at certain timings so there is almost always a long queue.

🕶️ Blue Elephant - If you are interested in Gentle Monster dupes this is a perfect place for you to get them at a cheaper price with amazing quality!

🛍️ Myeongdong - Myeongdong is a one stop shopping destination for all your shopping needs because it has everything and anything that you would want to buy that is why it is always crowded with tourists!

Day 5️⃣Night

🛍️ Came back from Jeju at night and headed immediately on over to Dongdaemun after checking in for some late night shopping! Some places open till as late as 5am!

🏬 Apm Place - A mall that is filled with items from blogshops and it get immensely busy here! Although this place is for females as it does not sell male fashion items!

💍 Mimi Line - If you are looking for accessories and other items, this is the place for you! It even opens until 5am so you can literally shop till you drop!

💍 Nyu Nyu - Another popular accessories shop with a lot of choices and branches for you to shop at!

Day 6️⃣

🛍️ Seongsu - Started the day by heading on over to Seongsu-Dong which is known for its many Pop-Ups and branded stores

🛍️ Seongsu Pop-Ups - Went around the many pop-ups here and I have to say you can’t underestimate Korean Pop-Ups as they are extremely well done in terms of aesthetics and effort. Not to mention you will get many freebies from them as well!

🥯 Cafe Onion - Another popular Cafe in Seoul, you definitely have to come here and try out their different bakes! They have different branches with the one in Seongsu having a industrial vibe while the one in Anguk is in a traditional Hanok Setting!

📸 Kodak Store - Check out the Kodak store for some of their clothing and shoes or take pictures with their aesthetics interiors!

Day 7️⃣

🛍️ Lotte Mart - Started the day with a trip down here to get some snacks and other items to bring back home from my trip to Korea. It has all the things you need to buy! You can even get free items as “service” when you purchase items here

🧢 Dongmyo Flea Market - If you are into thrifting, this is a place you need to visit as it contains several thrift shops and people hawking their second hand items!

👟 New Balance Myeongdong - I tried my hand at making me own DIY T-Shirt here and if you want to make DIY items like T-Shirts, shoes or even caps, you can head on over here, where you can customise your items and add stickers or patches to your liking!

🍺 Pocha Street - Tried out a local experience by having a meal at a Pocha along the streets which is lined with many of them!

Day 8️⃣ Morning

🐟 Pungcheon Eel - Had grilled eel for one our last meals in Korea and it is definitely one you should visit for its freshly grilled and crisp eel!

🛍️ Last Minute Shopping In Myeongdong - Did some last minute shopping around Myeongdong before heading to the Airport!
