What To Expect At Gastrobeats’24

If you are checking out ILight’24 be sure to stop by at Gastrobeats for some Food & Drinks & event pop-ups as well. Here’s some of the things I tried & what you can expect here!

🍽️ Food:

🍖 Jett Barbecue

By far the best thing I ate at Gastrobeats, they serve smoked meats in the Woodfired oven they have on site. I got the Texas Style Smoked Dino Beef Ribs ($19) & Smoked Beef Cheeks With Mashed Potatoes ($19). Each came with a serving of mashed potatoes that was so smooth creamy and flavourful that I could have it all by itself. The smoked meats were also super tender and juicy with the hint of char & smokiness to it. Although, since they are the same price, I would rather go for the Beef Cheek which is fattier and more tender.

🌮 Papi’s Tacos

Have some of their signature tacos here, each set comes with 2 tacos & we had the Grilled Chicken ($12) & Grilled Fish ($14). I personally prefer the Fish as it so much juicy and tender.

🍲 Kind Bowl

Had the Saigon Delight ($17.20) here which is a version of their Banh Mi, other than the crispiness of the bun, it was quite mid imo.

🍌 Thai Dessert House

Had the Thai Fried Banana ($10) here, crispy and sweet very nice for a dessert/snack if you are feeling peckish

Pop-Ups:

🥤Coca Cola

The pop-up has many mini games for you to play and with each you can get a stamp for each of the games you play and at the end using all the stamps you get, you can claim a prize at their booth! There is also a photobooth where you can take pictures with your friends as well!

🍦Ben & Jerry’s

Other than selling their ice creams, the booth here also has a ball throwing game where you can get to win free prizes like tumblers etc

🎡 Carnival:

A large portion of the event space is reserved for an Uncle Ringo Carnival so you can play all the carnival games like Bumper Cars etc!
