Ordered 5 of their signature pasta!! 🤤

Heard a lot about this place selling good pasta and decided to pay it a visit🙌🏻. Friends who have visited before told me that you literally don’t even need to consider any of the other pastas on the menu, just get the signature prawn basil pesto pasta 🍝 ! And so, we got 5 pesto pastas in total 😂

1️⃣ Prawn Basil Pesto Pasta ($25) 🍝 

You can choose your pasta from Linguine, Spaghetti, Penne and Handmade Tagliatelle (+$3.21). I got the Handmade Tagliatelle which was long and had a flat ribbon kinda texture. Pesto sauce was AMAZING but for those who don’t really like savoury stuff, this might be too much for you 👅 The pasta comes with grilled prawns which was pretty meaty too. 🦐 

2️⃣ Braised Beef Cheeks ($28) 🥩 

The beef cheeks had a very soft mouthfeel which was paired with red wine sauce 🍷. It comes with sauteed bacon and mushrooms🍄. The meat was placed on mashed potato which was hearty and buttery 🥔 . But overall, I think this was a meh dish, nothing too special.

3️⃣ Truffle Kombu Fries ($15)🍟

Initially ordered only two plates for the 9 of us but it’s so good we ordered an extra plate! Nicely seasoned and definitely good for sharing 😛

4️⃣ Chocolate Lava Cake ($14) 🍰

Ordered this to celebrate my friend’s belated and it tasted pretty nice🎂. The lava cake itself was warm and fuzzy. I usually don’t like dessert that is too chocolatey but this was just the right amount, the chocolate was very smooth and palatable 🍫 . It also comes with vanilla ice cream which was very rich and complements the cake well 🤤

Overall, though this was on the other end of SG for me, vibes and service was good. Price was a lil more expensive but pasta taste was better and more worth it than PS Cafe 😮‍💨
