Natural Food Cafe with Organic Market @Dempsey 🌿

Went to this cafe at dempsey during the public holiday for a 2pm brunch. Outdoor seating had really good lighting and was surrounded by a lush of green which added to the serenity 🪴. Prices are on the steeper end but here’s what we got!

1️⃣ Organic House Granola ($16) 🥣

I love the coconut yogurt in this granola bowl, it had a very smooth texture, pleasantly sweet and goes very well with the fresh fruits and the crunchy granola. The dish also comes with a saffron poached pear 🍐 which my friend adored. Taste wise, it had a subtle sweet flavour, nothing too mindblowing but very light on the palate.

2️⃣ Shakshuka ($25) 🍳

If you are looking for something more on the savoury end, get this! It comes with Pita bread which has a semi-dry texture and rather chewy. You can dip it into the Shakshuka which had eggs, capsicum, tomato gravy and tomato salsa. Shakshuka itself was loaded with flavours, which was very satisfying to eat and yummy 😋

3️⃣ Full Aussie Breakfast ($30) 🥓

We chose scrambled eggs for this it comes with corn rosti, smoked bacon, organic miso beans, mushroom, avocado, spinach and white sourdough. Special highlight to the pork sausage which was so BOMB 💣, very juicy and succulent (we were fighting for it at one point while sharing). The housemade organic miso beans have a unique and earthy flavour which I enjoyed. The other ingredients were okay-ish only, so for the price point, I don’t think this dish was very worth it🫢

4️⃣ Iced Latte ($9) ☕

I was expecting more for this since it’s priced higher than regular coffee you can find at other cafes but tbh it was very milky, couldn’t really taste the aroma of the coffee itself, so would not reco this as well 🤧

Generally enjoyed the vibes there, felt very tucked away from the city life so it was very chill 🌿. They also have indoor seating, dinner menu and an organic supermarket where you can shop at once you are done with your meal 🛒
