Two kids or just one?

32 YO and a new mom of two. My eldest is turning four and my little one just turned one.

It was always (sort of) in our plan to have two children — so they have a companion, a playmate and just someone to go through life with. That’s our expectations, right?

The truth is… Up until now though, I’ve felt immense guilt towards both of them. Primarily because we as parents have to divide out our resources and attention. And neither one gets 100% as they should. With our demanding jobs in the equation, it gets even more complicated 🥲🥲🥲

Sometimes I catch myself thinking that if I had the option to go back in time…, perhaps this is something I’d do differently.
