A Hidden Japanese Teahouse. Just Added in Google

Visited this tea house that looks like a retail shop from outside. It’s a wkday afternoon and hence not crowded. Only 3 of us and other 2 customers in the tea house.

They offers a wide range of teas, from white tea to yellow tea to green tea and to black tea.. with many different teas in each of these range above. We don’t even know which is good and hence the waitress is patient to find out our preferences and gives her recommendation.

We were there because we wanted something different from our usual coffee cafes. As a designer myself, job hazard, I want to explore this aesthetic and IG worthy tea house.

A typical pot of tea range from S$13-19, which they allowed to brew (refill water) up to 3x a pot. They sell some desserts too. Price around $15-20.

I was hoping that they have some tea appreciation sessions or the famous 茶道 that the Japanese are famous for.. unfortunately no. Hence TWG wins my vote over these Japanese tea although I admit that I still prefer coffee more than tea. #MyPOV

To sum it up, these are the 3 reasons I would encourage you to at least check out this teahouse.
