orchard central’s pottery class beginner friendly?

☁️ am i addicted is a pottery studio located at orchard gateway! i recently went bc its really hyped up on lemon8 and ive always wanted to try wheelthrowing. so this is my first time!

🤍 i love that its located it town, which makes it v convenient for me! and they also have classes everyday. they do handbuilding, wheelthrowing and pottery painting classes!

☁️ i joined the standard wheelthrowing 2 hour class for $80! i made 2 pieces- an accessory bowl and a heart shaped cup! i also brought my mum as an early mother’s day gift!

🤍 the instructor was super patient w us and taught us the necessary skills to make what we want! since we get to make 2 pieces, the instructors do it alongside u- so step by step! when it comes to shaping ur first piece, they will teach ask what u wanna make and teach u the skills! since the lesson takes in max of 6 students, the one instructor is able to go around and help at every step! when making the second piece, the instructor will walk around and help as needed!

☁️ we leave our pieces to dry and for them to fire for a month! they also include free glazes but also premium colours for an upgrade of $5 per piece. i signed up for a painting class for one of my pieces for an extra of $30!

🤍 the first lesson was so fun that i went back the next day! i really like how hands on we get to be and the instructors that help make the process less daunting!

☁️ its definitely an activity ill do on the regular! im even considering the beginners course of 7 classes w them!
