☁️ this restaurant is located near outram mrt. its near shake shack and along all the cafes and restaurants!

🤍 this is hands down the best restaurant my boyf and i have been! every single dish was amazing!

☁️ the atmosphere of the restaurant is super chill and comfortable! its a slightly dimmed restaurant- perfect for date night! it isnt a particularly big restaurant so i would recommend making reservations.

🤍 beurre’s team is led by Chef Han who previously worked at Preludio. Chef Han is supported my Sous Chef Bemz where he previously worked in a 1 star michelin restaurant! tbh its no wonder the food is so good!

☁️ ill be honest, i never liked michelin restaurant food… ive been to a few and i never enjoyed it. i think its too much flair

🤍 at beurre, theres no unnecessary flair- its jus right! food was down to earth but felt and tasted luxurious! its surprisingly affordable as well

☁️ here’s what we got

✨ bread plate ($9)

sourdough bread with kombu butter. kombu butter is seaweed butter which i freaking love! im always on the look out of kombu butter bc i think it elevates butter so well!

this bread plate was 10/10! sourdough bread and kombu butter was on point! the butter wasnt overly salty as well!

✨ cold scallop somen noodles ($28)

hokkaido scallop sashimi, shio kombu, somen noodles, leche de tigre and ikura!

this dish wow… the noodles were so chewy and cold! the scallop sashimi was so fresh and soft! leche de tigre is ‘tiger’s milk’ where its citrus based blended with chiles and onions! this is topped off with shio kombu. everything blended so well together! it was sweet, sour, salty and refreshing!

definitely get this if youre there!

✨ ma la escargot ($19)

mala escargot with bacon and potato foam on papadam

ngl i was abit iffy about this at first bc there was papadam on it. but omg was i wrong.. it was so good! the ma la escargot was just right, not to spicy! it paired really well with the bacon and papadam. the ma la was mellowed down with the potato foam! so so so so good! the escargot was perfect!

✨ stuffed black chicken ($52)

glutinous rice, lardon, foie gras stuffed black chicken and served with thyme sauce

the staff brought over the chicken and started to flambé it in front of us! after that they plated it out for us.

tbh i was abiiiit scared bc ive never seen a whole chicken on my plate before. so my boyf had to cut it out for me. to my surprise, the chicken was already deboned! the glutinous rice was so good! it was slightly sweet and very well cooked! the foie gras was on point, it didnt smell at all! everything paired very very well!

✨ tiramisu cake ($14)

tiramisu cake with hazelnut crunch and green tea matcha gelato

perfect sweetness! the cake was elevated to another level with the matcha gelato! definitely one to the best pairing of tiramisu ive had!

🤍 every dish here is 10/10! its so good! we’ve never had a meal where every single dish we order is a 10/10! this is definitely worth going for the food! the atmosphere is perfect as well, i got a few nice pics for ig!
