Let’s cook & relax!!! ☕️ Crockpot Short Ribs in Red Wine
Serve these over my steakhouse mashed potatoes 🥔
Ingredients:
• 1 pack short ribs (if you’re feeding more people buy 2 packs)
• 2 carrots, diced
• 2 celery stalks, diced
• 1 onion, diced
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 3C beef stock
• 6 oz tomato paste
• 2C red wine
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp pepper
Fresh herbs, optional
Steps:
• 1. Season the short ribs with salt & pepper, sear on both sides with a little olive oil (I have the instapot combo and sear directly in the pot)
• 2. Add the wine, stock & tomato paste to deglaze the pot & mix to dissolve. Add remaining ingredients.
• 3. Slow cook on low for 8 hours
4. The meat will fall right off the bone! Serve on top of mashed potatoes with a big scoop of the sauce (if you want to thicken it up make a slurry w/ flour) and a pinch of fresh herbs for a little color
