Let’s cook & relax!!! ☕️❤️ Baked Macaroni & Cheese - this is my essential for the holidays (the only thing I’ll do different is top it with bacon & panko but this was a weeknight meal - 🙅🏻‍♀️😳 back to healthy eating next week 🙌🏻👌)

Ingredients:

2C sharp white cheddar

2C classic orange cheddar

2C Gruyère

4T butter

2T flour

3 garlic cloves, minced

2C milk (I used half & half)

1 box Cavatappi pasta

*About 90% of the cheese goes on the sauce, save the rest for sprinkling on top!

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375*F

1. Boil a big pot of water for the pasta, add a pinch of salt. Shred all of the cheese (don’t buy the prepackaged stuff and save a handful to sprinkle on top)

2. Melt the butter on medium, add garlic, add flour and stir very well, slowly add half & half - continue to stir.

3. Add cheese and keep stirring until completely melted.

4. Add pasta and mix

5. Pour pasta into a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese

6. Bake 20 mins until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden on top

7. Sprinkle with a little fresh parsley for some color and enjoy!
