Dyson is SO overhyped 💇‍♀️⁉️

Last weekend, my SO decided to bring me to Funan mall to pick my own birthday prezzie in advance😻

We went to see Dyson’s hair dryer at Capital Piazza and also this relatively unknown brand called Dreame. After a brief test at both stores, I eventually decided to go with Dreame.

Here’s why—

👍Why I chose this over Dyson:

1️⃣ Weight

At 300g this is super light weight as compared to Dyson’s 600g hairstyler/ hair dryer

2️⃣ Value for $

This is their newest product and it’s $200+ before discount. While their older products have pretty pastel colours, this new one only has space grey and a copper/bronze colour. Nevertheless, it’s still more worth the buck as compared to Dyson’s newer hair dryer at $600-$700++.

3️⃣ Multi-purpose and portable with strong wind power

TBH, I just need a simple,fuss free hairdryer that does the job fast💨 This version does come with the anti-frizz tool+ curling tool that u can attach on if you want to style your hair. As someone who rarely does anything to my hair, I think I will not be using the tools much. So, the tools are there but it’s not a necessity for me. I got this totally because this is the most portable (and foldable) out of their range of hair dryers!

Oh, did I also mention their super solid wind power? It claims to dry the hair within 40 seconds. I didn’t time myself but I do see that it dries my hair faster than my panasonic hairdryer.

Other than cold,hot,warm modes, there’s also the cold-hot air mode that automatically alternates hot-cold wind while you blow-dry, which I like ❤️
